2010-04-19Austin, TX Auston Holt delivered a presentation titled “How Does Your Company’s Identity Security Compare with that of the Federal Government?” at April’s meeting of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) Capital of Texas Chapter.
The abstract reads:
“From the 9/11 Commission Report and Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 came FIPS 201 which requires, at a minimum, the use of Personal Identity Verification (PIV) of Federal Employees and Contractors via smart cards. This mandate has affected the identity credentials and the access control systems for the entire United States Federal Government.
