atsec生日快乐!
2009-01-11On the 11th of January atsec celebrates its 9th birthday. We are very happy that atsec is still in excellent shape. The company is growing, healthy and strong.
Our best wishes and thanks to all the contributors: Our employees, our customers and our partners.
A lot happened during these 9 years. Everybody interested in the company's history is invited to have a look into our news section to get an overview of the past year.
It is a nice tradition within atsec that each year another consultant writes a laudation including a very personal view of the company. Please have a look at this year's laudation written by Peter Wimmer, who joined atsec one year after its foundation, and who has been with atsec for the last eight years:
Peter Wimmers' Laudatio: This is the ninth successful year for atsec information security - in the United States, Germany, Sweden, and China. The remarkable international orientation and the professionalism have been important features of the founders and the employees alike. Our customers can be found in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Turkey, Taiwan, and Canada. Although atsec was founded in the "New Economy," it has always followed a long-term strategy. Because we are independent from external investors, the focus has never been on short-term gains, but on slow and steady growth. And there is a remarkable coherence within the company that has helped atsec weather difficult times. When I joined atsec, Staffan Person, one of the founders, talked to me and showed me the kind of passion for IT security that is typical for atsec: "The most important thing is the joy we feel for our work." This sentence was one of the reason why I joined atsec, but it also explains the motivation, the high quality, and the success that we share with our customers. Some of the best security experts work for atsec. It has always been an important part of company culture to share your knowledge and experience with your co-workers. These synergies are the reason why our projects are more than the sum of their parts. Ad multos annos! |
