Berlin - For the 8th time TeleTrusT is represented at the biggest IT-Security conference in the world, the RSA Conference 2008 in San Francisco. The association brings more and more German IT specialists as exposition partners on board. From 7 to 11 April 2008 14 companies and the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) will present their products and competences at the TeleTrusT Partner Pavilion.

"The RSA Conference 2008 will be a strong appearance for our label "IT-Security Made in Germany": We are there with twice as much partners than in 2007", Dr. Gunther Welsch, CEO of TeleTrusT, says. Welsch regards the strong interest of the association's members as a sign of the growing international influence of German IT-Security experts.

Thus a new agenda item will be included into the conference program of RSA this year: moderated by the president of the BSI the panel "Trustworthy IT-Infrastructures within Germany and beyond" focuses on the productivity of the German IT-Security branch. Simon Ford (NCP engineering), Dr. Kai Martius (secunet Security Networks), Prof. Norbert Pohlmann (Institute for Internet Security, FH Gelsenkirchen) und Marco Smeja (cv cryptovision) will report on the successful partnership between politics and industry in designing trustworthy IT applications and security infrastructures. According to the conference slogan: "Stay on top by staying one step ahead" the representatives from the different companies make use of the benefits the direct dialogue with American IT experts offers.

The participants of the traditional TeleTrusT Round Table debating "Support for Mobility - Trusted Infrastructures" on the opening day of the RSA 2008 exhibition are as well "one step ahead" in the international exchange. Six experts from top companies such as Steve Lipner from Microsoft and Claire Vishik from Intel report on the newest findings and allow the participants to be a factor front and center in the following discussion.

TeleTrusT, the German Consul General Rolf Schutte and Dr. Udo Helmbrecht, President of the BSI, invite experts from Germany, Europe and the USA as well as representatives from user areas and administration to the "Deutsche Abend" Reception on 9 April in the German Consulate General in San Francisco.
